The Journey from a Nightmare
Alara's Process
Here you can find mixture of thoughts, movements, sounds and visuals of my process on finding how to tell a Journey from a Nightmare.
It is a work in progress blog where I try and fail to achieve while trying to tell my aims with the help of Tadeusz Kantor. As Kantor says, "Actor do not represent or explore anything, but themselves"(1980, p.145). In here, I am trying to find my own freedom with my object and explore every possibility.
How It Got Started
The Journey from a Nightmare is my response to Kantor's point that "Freedom exist inside us" and to his "Poor Room of Imagination".

The Final Blasphemy and the ‘limits of the (post) human’, observes: ‘Within Blasphemy the different order systems (performers, puppets, objects, live rat, technology and audience) were manipulated to foreground interconnection, interdependence and interactivity and produce a confusion of boundaries.’
‘An umbrella ‘opened’ and ‘closed’ space’.
To quote Kantor: ‘The object was becoming a fully-fledged partner’.
